MATERIAL STRENGTH
Three Directional Weaving Capability
Uncrimped fiber utilizes the full strength of the carbon fiber. Fiber volumes are equally distributed but can be varied for specific applications.
A variety of matrix systems are available based on application. Use temperatures can go up to 2480°C.
Fibers are oriented in three directions to create thick, structural composites.
CASE STUDIES & APPLICATIONS

Composite Modeling
An in-depth study of polymer matrix composites from design through characterization. Challenges of manufacturing and FEA analysis of the material are discussed as well as future goals in further customizing the material to specific applications

Prosthetic Adapters
Our PMC has been studied as an alternative to metal adapters for lower-limb prosthetics. A PMC adapter can reduce the weight by as much as 50%.
